Reservations are confirmed on receipt of your reservation by email or by phone. Bookings must be paid by acceptable and valid credit card or bank transfer.
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. One night stays are at our discretion, so please contact us directly for consideration.
We welcome up to two small – medium well-behaved dogs, or one larger breed dog.
There may be additional cleaning fees for this.
We do not allow pets to stay at Lonsdale House.
Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. Depending on availability, later check out and earlier check in may be available. Please contact us to request this and we will do our best to accomodate.
There are local convenience stores, bakeries and coffee shops all within a couple of minutes walk. If you wish to access larger stores, such as Marks and Spencers, Asda and all the high street shops these are a 5 minute drive away.
We provide Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits in your welcome pack.
No, we supply clean bed linen and towels for your stay.
Thank you for asking! Yes, we do. Treading sand through the house makes extra work for you during your stay and for our cleaners when you leave. We’d really appreciate if you left your sandy boots and all sandy items at the door.
Lonsdale House has private off Road Parking.
On-street unrestricted parking is available at all other properties – usually right outside your door.
No, all of our properties are non-smoking. Due to fire risk and respect for future guests, if found to be smoking inside the property an on the spot £200 fine may be issued.
We do understand that accidents MAY happen and it is inevitable that the odd glass or plate gets broken but please do let us know so that it can be fixed or replaced in time for the next guests.
It is sometimes reasonable to expect to pay for more serious damages and breakages such as incidents to carpets, broken windows etc.
